بَابُ عُقُوبَةِ الْبَغْيِChapter: Punishment for Transgression
Hadith 894
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”مَنْ عَالَ جَارِيَتَيْنِ حَتَّى تُدْرِكَا، دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ“، وَأَشَارَ مُحَمَّدٌ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever brought up two daughters until they reached maturity, I and he will enter Paradise together like this." The narrator of the hadith, Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him), joined his middle and index fingers together as a gesture.
