Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The greatest sinner and criminal among people is the poet who satirizes an entire tribe, and the other is the one who denies his lineage from his father."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: Such poetry is disliked in which an entire tribe is satirized, because not all the people of a tribe are bad. Satirizing an evil individual is permissible, but condemning an entire tribe is by no means correct. Similarly, attributing oneself to anyone other than one’s own father is a major sin. The custom of adoption that is prevalent in the present age has been abolished by the Shari‘ah. Even if someone raises a child, it is necessary that the child be called by the name of his real father.
