It is narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him), he says that permission was granted to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) (to keep the name and kunyah of the Prophet ﷺ). He said: O Messenger of Allah! If I have a son after you, may I give him your name and kunyah? The Prophet ﷺ said: "Yes."
