It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that there was a man with him who had daughters. He wished for their death, so Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) became angry and said: Do you provide them with sustenance?

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah has declared this narration weak due to Abu al-Rawa’, however, hatred and aversion towards daughters is a disbelieving mindset. Raising daughters is certainly not easy, but for the one who raises them with patience and perseverance, there is glad tidings of Paradise, as has been mentioned earlier.
