It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunaif, may Allah be pleased with him, that he relates from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "None of you should say, 'My soul has become evil,' but rather say: 'My soul and temperament have become disturbed.'" Imam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Aqil has narrated it in a musnad form.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah states that at the end of the narration, the phrase “Asnadahu ‘Uqayl” does not make any sense. In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is “tabi‘ahu ‘Uqayl” and this is what appears to be more appropriate and correct. This corroboration has been mentioned in a connected form by al-Tabarani.
