Hadith 798

It is narrated from Habib bin Suhban Asadi (may Allah have mercy on him) that I saw Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) perform the obligatory prayer, then he said to a man who was at his side: O man! Then he stood up again.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
➊ In this narration, Sayyiduna Ammar radi Allahu anhu has used the word "Hanaah," and this is used specifically as a form of address.
➋ Sayyiduna Ammar radi Allahu anhu perhaps engaged in this conversation in order to create a separation between the obligatory (fard) and supererogatory (nafl) prayers, because it is not correct to perform the sunnah prayers immediately after the obligatory prayer.
