Hadith 780

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَزَّةَ يَسَارِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْهُذَلِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ قَبْضَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ، جَعَلَ لَهُ بِهَا - أَوْ: فِيهَا - حَاجَةً.“
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu ‘Azza Yasar bin ‘Abdullah Hudhali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When Allah Almighty intends for a servant to die in a certain land, He creates a need for him there.”

Benefits and Issues:
The point is that a person may seek his need or request from the place or person where it is found, and this certainly happens. However, he should adopt a good and permissible means. Whatever is decreed for him in his destiny will surely reach him.
