بَابُ قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِلرَّجُلِ: وَيْلَكَChapter: Saying "Woe to You"
Hadith 772
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، فَقَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: فَإِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، وَيْلَكَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man driving a sacrificial camel, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ride on it." He said: "It is a sacrificial camel." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: "Ride on it." He said: "It is a sacrificial camel." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ride on it." He said: "It is a sacrifice." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May you perish, ride on it."
