It is narrated from Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Abu Abdullah said to Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both), or Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud asked Sayyiduna Abu Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both): "What have you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding 'za‘m' (claim/assumption)?" He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is a bad mount for a man."
