بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَChapter: The Prophet's ﷺ Supplications
Hadith 681
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ نُصَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ قَنَّعْنِي بِمَا ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ ، وَاخْلُفْ عَلَيَّ كُلَّ غَائِبَةٍ بِخَيْرٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he used to say: "O Allah! Grant me contentment with whatever provision You give me, and bless it for me. And whatever things are not before me, protect them behind me with goodness."
