بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَChapter: The Prophet's ﷺ Supplications
Hadith 673
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ”اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدَّمُ وَالْمُؤَخِّرُ ، لا إِلَهَ أَلا أَنْتَ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that among the supplications of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was this supplication: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ، دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ، سِرَّهُ وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ» "O Allah! Forgive all my past and future, hidden and apparent sins. And forgive those of my sins which You know better than I do. Surely, You are the One Who brings forward and You are the One Who puts back. There is no true deity except You."
