It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating with these words: "O my Lord! Help me and do not help anyone against me, and support me and do not support anyone against me, plan for me and do not plan against me, make guidance easy for me and help me against the one who transgresses against me. O Allah! Make me greatly grateful to You, make me remember You much, and make me fearful of You. Make me greatly obedient to You and one who turns to You often. Grant me the ability to humble myself before You and to turn towards You. O Allah! Accept my repentance, wash away my sins, accept my supplication, accept my excuse, guide my heart, correct my tongue, and remove malice from my heart."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: In this comprehensive supplication of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there is a request for every good of this world and the Hereafter. In such a way that when Allah’s help is obtained against every kind of enemy, he becomes dominant and no one can overpower him. Allah, the Exalted, protects him from the enemy’s deception, pardons his shortcomings, grants him guidance, and promises to deal with every oppressor and transgressor. The servant becomes grateful, one who remembers Allah abundantly, fears Allah, is obedient to his Lord, and is also granted the ability to turn towards Allah. His repentance is accepted, he is forgiven for his sins, his supplication is answered, his heart is upright and upon the straight path, his tongue is correct, and there is no malice, hatred, doctrinal, or spiritual disease in his heart. Then such a person will certainly attain the rank of a perfect friend (wali kamil) of Allah. We pray to Allah that He makes us such, and grants us the ability to memorize these supplications and to ask through them.
