بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَChapter: The Prophet's ﷺ Supplications
Hadith 664
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ طَلِيقِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : ”اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي وَلا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ ، وَانْصُرْنِي وَلا تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ ، وَيَسِّرِ الْهُدَى لِي.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate: "O Allah! Help me and do not help against me, and support me and do not support anyone against me, and make guidance easy for me."
