بَابُ مَنْ تَعَوَّذَ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الْكَسَلِChapter: Seeking Refuge From Laziness
Hadith 656
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : ”اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ.“
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them), that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ» "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness and debt, and I seek Your protection from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal), and I seek Your protection from the punishment of the Fire."
