بَابُ قَبُولِ الْهَدِيَّةِChapter: Accepting Gifts
Hadith 594
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ضِمَامُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ”تَهَادُوا تَحَابُّوا.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Exchange gifts with one another, as this creates mutual love."
