Amr bin Wahb (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I saw Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Asid (may Allah have mercy on him) when he would ride while in the state of ihram, he would remove the cloth from his shoulders and place it on his thighs. I asked him: What is this? He said: I saw Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) do this.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
The chain of narration of this report is weak, and its relevance to the chapter is that Abdullah would remove his garment from his body for the fresh air of the wilderness, thus the permissibility of going upon the mounds is understood.
