بَابُ إِنَّ الْغَنَمَ بَرَكَةٌChapter: Sheep Are a Blessing
Hadith 573
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الأَزْرَقُ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”الشَّاةُ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَرَكَةٌ، وَالشَّاتَانِ بَرَكَتَانِ، وَالثَّلاَثُ بَرَكَاتٌ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Keeping a goat in the house is a blessing, keeping two goats is two blessings, and keeping three goats is three blessings."
