It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that in the year of the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat on the steps of the honored Ka'bah, praised and glorified Allah, and said: "Whoever had any agreement with anyone during the time of ignorance, Islam emphasizes its protection even more, and after the conquest of Makkah, there is no migration."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
The point is that if, in the era of ignorance (Jahiliyyah), anyone had a pact with someone else and it is not contrary to Islam, then Islam does not prohibit fulfilling it; rather, it further emphasizes fulfilling it. The second point mentioned is that after the conquest of Makkah, Makkah too has now become a sanctuary of peace; therefore, there is no longer a need to migrate (hijrah) from here. However, migration (hijrah) from other regions where Islam faces dangers is still permissible.
