Aswad bin Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): What did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do in his house? She replied: He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to be engaged in the work of his family. When the time for prayer came, he would go out.
