Hadith 488

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware of oppression, for oppression will come as darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. And beware of miserliness, for it destroyed those before you and incited them to shed each other's blood and violate each other's sanctities."
