Hadith 467

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was more modest than a veiled virgin girl. When he (peace be upon him) disliked something, we would recognize it from his face.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
There was gentleness in his nature. Therefore, he would not scold anyone to their face for their bad deed. In a compassionate manner, he would offer correction collectively, or else he would admonish in private. However, if the matter pertained to what is lawful or unlawful (halal or haram), or was related to worship, then he would also correct openly so that others might learn a lesson as well.
