بَابُ الْمُسْتَبَّانِ شَيْطَانَانِ يَتَهَاتَرَانِ وَيَتَكَاذَبَانِChapter: The Two Abusing Each Other Are Two Devils, Reviling and Lying
Hadith 428M
قَالَ عِيَاضٌ: وَكُنْتُ حَرْبًا لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَهْدَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ نَاقَةً، قَبْلَ أَنْ أُسْلِمَ، فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا وَقَالَ: ”إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ زَبْدَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.“
Sayyiduna Iyad (may Allah be pleased with him) says that before accepting Islam, while I was still an opponent of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I gave a she-camel to him as a gift, but he did not accept it, and said: "I dislike the gift of polytheists."
