حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”لَا تُمَارِ أَخَاكَ، وَلَا تُمَازِحْهُ، وَلَا تَعِدْهُ مَوْعِدًا فَتُخْلِفَهُ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not quarrel with your brother, nor joke with him (in a way that causes him harm), and do not make a promise to him which you will break."
