It is narrated from Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him), he says that either Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas or Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) invited the other. A slave girl was serving them, so (upon her mistake) one of them said to her: "O adulteress!" The other companion said: "Stop! If she is not punished for this accusation in this world, then in the Hereafter the punishment (for this slander) will be enforced." He said: "What do you say if she really is like that?" The other companion replied: "Allah Almighty does not like foul-mouthed and obscene speakers at all." Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "Allah Almighty dislikes those who use foul language and speak obscenely."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: ➊ The prescribed punishment (hadd) will not be implemented in this world upon one who beats or accuses his slave or slave-girl, however, if he is lying, then on the Day of Judgment the hadd will be carried out upon him and he will be punished. ➋ If a person is evil or an adulterer, it is still impermissible to call him by such a title, because this too is something that spreads indecency. ➌ It is the right of one friend over another that he should correct him and admonish him for his mistake. This is true friendship. Friends who affirm every good or bad thing are not sincere well-wishers.
