Hadith 315

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ، يَقُولُ‏:‏ لُعِنَ اللَّعَّانُونَ‏.‏ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ: الَّذِينَ يَلْعَنُونَ النَّاسَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Those who curse excessively are themselves accursed. Marwan bin Mu'awiyah said: They are those who curse people.
