Hadith 287

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked: Which religion is most beloved to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, among the religions? He (peace be upon him) replied: "The one that is pure and easy."

Benefits and Issues:
The point is that out of all the previous religions, Allah Almighty loves the religion of Islam, which is the Hanif religion, whose follower was Ibrahim (alayhis salam). As for the characteristics of the religion of Islam, all its qualities are beloved to Allah, but the quality of ease is the most beloved to Allah, as is mentioned in a hadith where the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
((Inna khayra deenikum aysarahu))
“The best part of your religion is that which is the easiest.” (Musnad Ahmad: 5/32)
That is, one should not adopt an unnecessarily severe and unbearably difficult path, but rather, in those matters where the Shariah has provided leniency, leniency should be adopted. However, laziness in the rulings of Shariah and a soft stance regarding the violation of the limits set by Allah is not considered ease, but rather complacency.
