بَابُ الشُّحِّChapter: Miserliness
Hadith 282
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى هُوَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ السُّلَمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ هُوَ الْحُدَّانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”خَصْلَتَانِ لاَ يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ: الْبُخْلُ وَسُوءُ الْخُلُقِ.“
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Two qualities cannot be combined in a believer: miserliness and bad character."
