It is narrated from another chain from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever strikes someone unjustly, retribution will be taken from him on the Day of Resurrection."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
Imam Bukhari rahimahullah has brought these narrations under the chapter of retribution (qisas) for a slave, even though there is no explicit mention of a slave in them. The answer to this is that the retribution for a free person is taken in this world, whereas the retribution for a slave is not taken in this world; therefore, in these narrations, what is meant is the killing of a slave. Or, it refers to those oppressed individuals who could not obtain their retribution in this world. In some narrations, there is explicit mention of a slave.
