It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The rights of those entitled to rights will certainly be given to them, to the extent that the hornless goat will be recompensed for the harm done to it by the horned goat."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: ➊ If a master strikes his slave, then in this world neither will the prescribed punishment (hadd) be carried out upon him, nor will he be punished; however, the one who transgresses will have to bear its consequences on the Day of Resurrection, because on that day every person will be given full recompense for good or evil, and all those entitled to rights will be given their complete rights. It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha that a man came to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have slaves. They lie to me, betray me, and disobey me, so I scold them and also beat them. What is my situation?" He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: "Their betrayal, lying, etc. will be accounted for, and your punishment as well. If the matter is equal, then it is fine; but if your punishment is greater, then retribution (qisas) will be taken from you." That man went aside and began to weep. The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Have you not read the Book of Allah: ﴿And We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be wronged in anything﴾?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah! Then the only solution is that I set them free. I make you a witness that they are free." (Sahih Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2531)
➋ From this hadith it is understood that animals too will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment just like humans, but this does not mean that they are legally responsible (mukallaf). Their retribution (qisas) will be limited only to this punishment, and after that they will be finished. The mention of the goat is to indicate that a goat without horns is weak, and it is generally the habit that the weak are oppressed. Thus, the intent is to show that not only weak humans, but even weak animals will be given their rights.
