بَابُ مَنْ عَدَّ عَلَى خَادِمِهِ مَخَافَةَ سُوءِ الظَّنِّChapter: One Who Counts on His Servant Out of Fear of Suspicion
Hadith 168
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَعُدُّ الْعُرَاقَ عَلَى خَادِمِي مَخَافَةَ الظَّنِّ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I even count and keep bones with little meat on them, so that no suspicion arises about the servant (that he has stolen them).
