It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever's three children die and he remains patient seeking reward, he will enter Paradise." We asked: O Messenger of Allah! What about the one whose two (children) die? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever's two (children) die (he will also enter Paradise)." I said to Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): By Allah! I think that if you had said 'the one with one (child)', he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would have surely said that the one whose one (child) dies, he too (will enter Paradise)." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! I also think the same.
