Hadith 1308

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst and most wicked people of my Ummah are those who talk excessively, speak with wide open mouths, and speak with their mouths full. And the best people of my Ummah are those who have the best character."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
A person who speaks excessively, without distinguishing between elders and youngsters, speaks arrogantly, mocks others in his speech, and speaks so forcefully that foam comes out of his mouth—such a person is the worst individual of this Ummah. We must certainly examine our own manner of speaking. In contrast, demonstrating good character while maintaining etiquette and respect is the way of the Prophets (alayhimussalam).
