It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: May Allah set right the affairs of the leader; indeed, your doorkeeper gives preference in granting permission to those whom he recognizes. He replied: May Allah accept his excuse; indeed, familiarity is beneficial even with a biting dog and an attacking camel (that due to this, they do not harm those whom they know and who are close to them).
