Hadith 1294

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Five things are from the natural disposition (fitrah): "Trimming the nails, cutting the moustache, plucking the hair from the armpits, shaving the pubic hair, and circumcision."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
From these narrations, it is understood that plucking the hair of the armpits is Sunnah. If this practice is taught from childhood, then when these hairs appear and one begins to pluck them, and does not use a razor, no difficulty arises. Furthermore, there is no odor from the armpits and the hair does not become excessive. Other matters have already been mentioned previously.
