حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، وَجَارِيَةٌ تَحْلِقُ عَنْهُ الشَّعْرَ، وَقَالَ: النُّورَةُ تُرِقُّ الْجِلْدَ.
It is narrated from Abdul Aziz bin Qais (may Allah have mercy on him) that I went to Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) while a slave-girl was shaving his hair. He said: Hair removal powder or lotion softens the skin.
