Hadith 1258
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُقَلِّمُ أَظَافِيرَهُ فِي كُلِّ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً، وَيَسْتَحِدُّ فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ.
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to cut his nails after fifteen days, and shave the hair below the navel after one month.
