Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Five things are from the natural disposition: trimming the mustache, cutting the nails, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, and using the tooth-stick (miswak)."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: ➊ In this narration, the mention of the tooth-stick (miswak) is rejected, and the correct view is that the fifth thing is circumcision (khitan). ➋ By "fitrah" is meant the state in which a person can recognize his Creator and accept the religion of Islam; moreover, these practices have been part of all previous heavenly religions. ➌ Removing hair from the private parts and its surrounding area is called "halq al-‘anah" (removal of pubic hair). ➍ These acts should be performed whenever the need is felt; however, the maximum period for delaying them is forty days. ➎ Plucking the hair of the armpits is superior, and this ruling applies to women as well.
