Explanation & Benefits

Benefits and Issues: Work proceeds swiftly in the morning, and the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) also supplicated for blessing, saying: "O Allah, bless my ummah in their mornings." Sleeping at noon helps in performing the night prayer (tahajjud), and in the last part of the day, transactions and buying and selling are at their peak; therefore, sleeping at that time is certainly foolishness.
