Hadith 1240

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ كَانُوا يَجْمَعُونَ، ثُمَّ يَقِيلُونَ‏.‏
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to take a midday nap after offering the Friday prayer.

Benefits and Issues:
From this, it is understood that the Friday prayer should be performed early, and it is not a condition for the midday nap (qaylulah) to be exactly at noon. The purpose is to rest for a short while during the day, whether that is before or after the Zuhr (noon) prayer.
