بَابُ تَعْلِيقِ السَّوْطِ فِي الْبَيْتِChapter: Hanging a whip in the house
Hadith 1229
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِتَعْلِيقِ السَّوْطِ فِي الْبَيْتِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that a whip be hung in the house.
