It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not leave these words in the morning and evening: «اللَّهُمَّإِنِّيأَسْأَلُكَ ...... » “O Allah! I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and for my family and my wealth. O Allah! Conceal my faults and keep me safe from things that cause fear. O Allah! Protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your greatness from being suddenly destroyed from beneath me.”
