بَابُ مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا خَرَجَ لِحَاجَتِهِChapter: What to say when going out for need
Hadith 1196
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي وَسَلِّمْ مِنِّي.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would leave his house, he would supplicate as follows: «اے اللہ! مجھے سلامت رکھ اور دوسروں کو مجھ سے سلامت رکھنا».
