بَابُ الْجَارِ الصَّالِحِChapter: The Righteous Neighbor
Hadith 116
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خَمِيلٌ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ: الْمَسْكَنُ الْوَاسِعُ، وَالْجَارُ الصَّالِحُ، وَالْمَرْكَبُ الْهَنِيءُ.“
Narrated from Sayyiduna Nafi' bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the good fortune of a Muslim is that he has a spacious house, a righteous neighbor, and a comfortable mount."
