Hadith 1146

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُؤَمَّلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ أَكْرَمُ النَّاسِ عَلَيَّ جَلِيسِي، أَنْ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ إِلَيَّ‏.‏
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: In my view, the most honorable is my companion, even if he comes jumping over people's necks until he comes and sits with me.
