It is narrated from Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them). Other people were also present. He began to step over people's necks to move forward, so the people stopped him. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Let this man come. He moved forward and sat near him and said: Tell me a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe, and a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who leaves what Allah has forbidden."

Benefits and Issues:
From this, it is understood that if a person needs to approach the head of a gathering for a specific necessity, he may pass through the people and go to him. It is also understood from this that the student of Qur’an and Hadith should be honored and respected. If someone inquires about a religious issue, all other conversation should be halted and the issue should be explained to him.
