Hadith 1134

It is narrated from Muhajir (may Allah have mercy on him) that I used to sit with a heavily built Hadhrami companion from among the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). When he was asked, "In what condition did you wake up?" he would reply: "We do not associate partners with Allah."

Benefits and Issues:
From these narrations, it is understood that the safety of religion and faith is the real safety. Worldly matters and physical health hold a secondary status. If a person is protected from shirk (associating partners with Allah) and disobedience, then he should be grateful to Allah. Illness will end sooner or later.
