Hadith 1133

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that it was said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "How did you begin your morning?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "I began the morning in goodness; I am among those who neither attended any funeral nor visited any sick person."

Benefits and Issues:
The meaning of the hadith is that everything is well with us; there has been no death that would require us to attend a funeral, nor is there anyone ill whose visitation would become necessary. In every circumstance, all praise is due to Allah.
