بَابُ أَمَّا بَعْدُChapter: "Amma Ba'du" (As for what follows)
Hadith 1120
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ: أَرْسَلَنِي أَبِي إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَكْتُبُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ.
It is narrated from Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) that my father sent me to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). I saw that he was writing: «بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم», amma ba‘d.
