It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "When a person mentions the name of Allah upon entering his house and while eating, Satan says (to his followers): 'There is no place for you to spend the night here, nor any food.' But when he does not mention the name of Allah upon entering his house, Satan says: 'You have found a place to spend the night.' And if he does not mention the name of Allah while eating, Satan says: 'You have found both a place to spend the night and food.'"
