It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three persons for whom Allah has taken responsibility and guarantee: if they remain alive, Allah will suffice for their needs (and Allah will protect them from every evil), and if they die, they will enter Paradise: Whoever enters his house saying «السلام», Allah the Exalted has taken responsibility for him; and whoever goes towards the mosque, his guarantee is also upon Allah; and whoever sets out in the path of Allah, Allah is also his guarantor."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
➊ The meaning of "guarantee" is that he will be granted every kind of safety—spiritual and physical—and will remain protected from any accident. He will be safeguarded from every kind of evil, and if he dies in this state, his end will be upon faith (iman) and he will enter Paradise. Subhan Allah, how easy an action and how great a reward! O Allah, grant us the ability to do this.
➋ One should greet one’s family members just as one greets other people; in particular, when entering the house, mentioning the name of Allah, "As-Salam," brings immense goodness and blessing, and the way to do this is by saying "as-salamu alaykum."
